WHO
WE ARE...
Cham Tse
Ling meaning Land of Love and Compassion is the name of our Association
given by our Guru. We are one of the hundreds of regional dharma centres
on this planet that are affiliated to the central Foundation for the
Preservation of the Mahayana Tradition (FPMT) founded by two most beloved
lamas - Lama Thubten Yeshe (1935-84) and His heart disciple, Lama Thubten
Zopa Rinpoche in 1975. Dedicated to preserving and transmitting the
Mahayana Buddhist tradition, the Foundation has experienced considerable
support and success in providing an array of dharma activities with
Lamas' sole aim of benefiting all sentient beings. With the kind approval
of the spiritual director of the Foundation - most respectable Lama
Zopa Rinpoche, the centre in Hong Kong was established in 1989 and was
named Mahayana Buddhist Association (CHAM TSE LING). We are a government
registered non-profit-making religious community. |
